You must apply online and set up a new account: (accounts may be set up prior to waitlist opening, however applications can not be submitted until the waitlist is open)

  • Go to info.affordablehousing.com/RamapoHA on any computer or mobile device
  • Review the waiting list information and click the “Apply Now” link
  • Sign in or set up a new account on AffordableHousing.com
  • Verify your email address and phone number
  • Complete your application and submit it before 5 p.m. on November 16, 2023.

Once the waiting list closes on November 16, 2023, eligible applicants will receive a notification by email of their lottery number and will be placed on the RHA Section 8 Waiting list in a randomized order. Applicants will be notified 30 days after the closing of the list.

Reasonable Accommodation

Applicants requiring a reasonable accommodation due to the inability to apply during the open enrollment period should contact Ashley@RamapoHousing.com or call (845) 237-3150 and leave a message to request a Reasonable Accommodation form by November 16, 2023. Cases will be reviewed on an independent basis and does not guarantee an opportunity to apply. At the conclusion of the reasonable accommodation period, all applications will be randomly selected resulting with 75 applicants on the Section 8 HCV Waiting List.
