You can apply for housing programs such as the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) also known as "Section 8" on AffordableHousing.com using our innovative RevoList™ software.
To get a "Section 8" voucher you must apply to a open waiting list. You can search by state to see which waiting lists are open now and opening soon.
Once you find an open waiting list you can apply directly on AffordableHousing.com. Just create an account and fill out the required information. If the housing authority does not use our system, click "Visit Website" to apply.
It is important to keep you information up-to-date. The housing authority will need to contact you if you are selected. In some cases you are required to update your application every year or your name is removed from the list.
Once you have been selected to receive a voucher you need to find a place to live. Many of the property owners on AffordableHousing.com have experience with the "Section 8" program. Look for listings with the icon of a house with an 8 inside.
